Non have opened more than 25 bottles of wine. Less than $5 a pop? That's STUPID GOOD! I received this as a Pink Elephant gag gift on Christmas 2008. It broke three weeks ago and I was afraid Trudeau had stopped making it. During that time it opened well over 1200 bottles of wine. I used it exclusively during that time, at first as a joke (because it was so cheap), but then just to see how long this thing would function before breaking. And it functioned perfectly until it broke. My wife and I drink a bottle of wine a day. I also used it at a benefit for my wife's non-profit to open 40 bottles of wine half having a wax "foil." This thing just works. I've gone through three Screw Pulls and one Rabbit each lasting less than a year and usually just return to using my Waiter's Corkscrew. Without question, this is the most durable corkscrew I've used (with the exception of the "Waiter's Corkscrew" which is bulletproof).If there are any left and you get one.... well you're lucky. Given I'm 65 yo and I have 8 coming...well I'll be willing those leftover to my niece and her husband who also think wine is pretty much a life requirement.
